Quentin holds a Master’s degree from Sorbonne University in Acoustics (Acoustics, Signal Processing and Computer Science Applied to Music), which he completed at IRCAM. His interest in acoustics was first nurtured by a bi-disciplinary course: a degree in Mechanics and a degree in Musicology at Sorbonne University.
His internships gave him the opportunity to work on a range of acoustics and music-related topics, including the characterisation of composite materials for guitar lutherie at LAM (M1) and the detection of musical repeats at IRCAM (M2).
After obtaining his Master’s degree at the end of 2023, Quentin joined the Acoustique & Conseil team in March 2024 as a project manager acoustician in the Paris office.
