QUALITY POLICY

Always strive for quality

Acoustique & Conseil is constantly striving to provide its customers with the best possible technical and environmental quality. To achieve this, its knowledge management model is an ‘expertise’ model, based on the continuous exchange of information and experience between acousticians. While they are all versatile and capable of tackling any type of acoustic or vibration problem, each of them also acts as a referent for the others in an area in which they have a particular expertise in order to enrich the group.

In addition to this internal organization, Acoustique & Conseil also relies on external systems to help it manage quality as effectively as possible in all areas of its activity. There are five such certifications and organizations:

12345/5

OPQIBI

  • OPQIBI

  • ISO-9001 2015

  • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) - Experimentation with the Cinov federation

  • Cinov GIAc

  • Housing Acoustics Certification

This observatory ensures the technical quality of the documents submitted, and regularly verifies that the various fields of acoustics and vibration are alive and well in Acoustique & Conseil’s missions. For decades, Acoustique & Conseil has been qualified in all the acoustic fields defined by OPQIBI:

  • 1601 Acoustic studies
  • 1602 Transport infrastructure acoustics engineering
  • 1603 Industrial acoustics engineering
  • 1604 Building acoustics engineering
  • 1605 Environmental acoustics engineering

This certification, prepared with an independent organization ISOCELE and verified then certified by a second SGS, enables us to maintain our vigilance on all aspects of internal organizational quality and continuous improvement. Acoustique & Conseil has been ISO 9001 certified since 2009. Acoustique & Conseil’s ISO 9001 : 2015 certification covers “Design and studies in acoustics and vibrations”

Acoustique & Conseil is involved as a pilot company in testing the adaptation of AFNOR’s LABEL ENGAGE RSE (based on ISO 26000) for VSEs and SMEs with fewer than 50 employees in the BETIC sector, which is currently being developed by the Cinov federation (the employers’ federation representing the BETIC sector) and AFNOR. This trial of the supported pathway to CSR maturity formally started at the beginning of 2024.

This approach helps us to assume our social and environmental responsibilities. It concerns both:

  • The day-to-day resources deployed to carry out our activity; for example, our geographical organisation into branches and agencies means that we can greatly reduce the amount of transport we need, and only take planes in exceptional cases.
  • The content of our recommendations; for example, we are very involved in collective research projects to provide good acoustic quality in bio-sourced buildings.

The Cinov GIAc union brings together independent consulting engineers and design offices specialising in acoustics in the building, environment, industry, training and research sectors. Acoustique & Conseil is very active within the GIAc in its efforts to raise awareness among politicians (through its many years of activity in the technical commission of the CNB ‘Conseil National du Bruit’), as well as among those involved in construction, the general public and students. Acoustique & Conseil is involved in a number of applied acoustics research groups supported by the GIAc: biosourced materials, Acoustic classification of buildings, vibrations, etc. Eric GAUCHER, Chairman of Acoustique & Conseil, was Chairman of the GIAc from 2014 to 2017 and is still Vice-Chairman.

By decision of the Minister for Regional Planning and Decentralisation dated 16 April 2025, ACOUSTIQUE & CONSEIL was granted approval to issue certificates relating to compliance with the acoustic regulations applicable to new residential buildings in mainland France.
