Vibrations

Acoustique & Conseil carries out the studies needed to control the vibration nuisance that can arise in certain projects, such as the proximity of railways (surface or underground), industries, technical equipment or building sites.

To do this, we carry out vibration acceleration measurements on site, then use cartographic modelling (such as Meffisto) to identify the transmission paths and vibration levels perceived in the structures. The regenerated noise levels (vibrations converted into audible noise) inside the premises are then assessed using our dedicated calculation tools. The treatment solutions are then designed: springs or pads depending on the resonance frequencies and uncoupling of the structures, to ensure user comfort, both from an acoustic and tactile point of view.
