Acoustique & Conseil provides acoustic design for cultural venues: concert halls, opera houses, theatres, dance centres, auditoriums, discotheques, cinemas, libraries, museums, temporary exhibition spaces, places of worship, etc.
The success of a performance space depends heavily on the quality of its natural acoustics. Acoustique & Conseil’s ambition is to design spaces that enhance musical or theatrical works and immerse listeners in an ideal listening environment.
ROOM ACOUSTICS
In harmony with the architectural and artistic project, Acoustique & Conseil makes every effort to match the spaces to their use: control of reverberation, speech intelligibility, clarity, sound strength, etc. Numerous technical resources are employed (3D modelling, auralisation, binaural listening), accompanied by artistic sensitivity and know-how drawn from years of experience in the field.
AMPLIFIED MUSIC VENUES AND IMPACT STUDIES
Venues broadcasting amplified music are faced with a number of constraints: compliance with neighbourhood regulations, protection of users’ hearing and quality of sound broadcasting. Acoustique & Conseil offers a comprehensive approach to ensure that these venues blend harmoniously into their environment.
PROGRAMMING
Upstream of the architectural studies, the programming phase lays the foundations for a project. On many cultural projects, Acoustique & Conseil works alongside the programmer to support the project owners and ensure that acoustics are taken into account right from the start of the decision-making process.
